Orders have a 12-egg minimum. One dozen is $65; add six more eggs for $30 if you want to fill an 18-egg incubator. The 18-egg subtotal is $95, before shipping and applicable taxes. The six extra eggs are available only as an add-on to a dozen.

Fertility replacement policy.
Confirmed infertile eggs will be replaced at no cost for the eggs. The buyer pays only shipping and handling for the replacements, if shipping is required.
If eggs purchased from The Groovy Silkie Co. are confirmed to be infertile, we'll replace the affected eggs without charging for the replacement eggs. Please contact us with your order details and information about your incubation results so we can review the issue and arrange the replacement.
This policy applies to confirmed infertility, not every egg that fails to hatch. Even fertile eggs may not hatch, and hatch results can be affected by transportation, handling, and incubation conditions.

How much do Silkie hatching eggs cost?
The minimum order is one dozen (12 eggs) for $65. If you would like 18 eggs for an 18-egg incubator, add six to the dozen for $30, for an egg subtotal of $95. What's the difference between hatching eggs and eating eggs?
Hatching eggs are intended for incubation and must be fertile to develop. Not every incubated egg will hatch, and hatch results depend on many factors, including handling and incubation conditions.
Which Silkie colors can I expect?
Ask the owner about the colors and breeding groups involved in the eggs currently offered. Chick colors and appearances cannot be guaranteed simply from the parents.
Can I buy locally? Do you ship?
We have sold hatching eggs locally. Please contact Allison to check current availability, arrange a local purchase, or ask whether shipping is available to your location. When shipping is arranged, shipping costs and any applicable taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
What if my hatching eggs are infertile?
If eggs in your order are confirmed to be infertile, we will replace those eggs at no charge for the replacement eggs. You pay only the shipping and handling on replacements if shipping is needed.
